. . . And Now, For The Real Custom
Puzzles . . .
Creative Advertising Ideas Compoz-A-Puzzle® jigsaw Puzzle Clonzz® are sophisticated variations of blank pieces of paper -- (perhaps the greatest innovation in stationery since the Egyptians invented paper over 3000 years ago -- and that ain't no lie). As such, it is a tool that gives added dimension to YOUR creativity. For instance, by virtue of the physical make-up of Compoz-A-Puzzle® ®, they lend themselves nicely to advertising campaigns that advocate the following concepts and cliches: ________________________ PUZZLED by . . . PUZZLED by . . . we have the SOLUTION ! (Pharmaceutical) ________________________ Don't be the MISSING LINK. (Fundraising) ________________________ The JIG is up ! (Credit Collection) ________________________ JOIN us for a GET TOGETHER ! (Party or Showroom Invitation) ________________________ In ALL the RIGHT PLACES . . . Let's just cut to the chase! We are prominent "Short Run Jigsaw Puzzle Specialists" . . . but we won't make less than one . . . and we won't break 'em apart! Many factors, however, come into play and/or must be considered before we can finalize a quote on your proposed project. This is what we've done since 1974: 1. Do you know what die configuration you want for the final puzzle . . . ya know, how many pieces will there be in one jigsaw puzzle unit and what will they look like? 2. Oftentimes, small quantities of personalized puzzles can be created by imprinting directly onto every puzzle . . . one at a time. 3. What thickness, however, do you require in this instance? It is a determining factor of the production method used to personalize. Thickness will obviously affect your cost for mailing, if you plan to "post" the pieces! To determine thickness, pile up a few typical business cards until you can approximate the thickness you believe addresses you needs . . . then let us know. Most customized puzzles are five cards high (caliper = .050" thick). 4. What is the actual number of units required. What might be considered a volume job to you may differ to us, e.g., "C" size puzzles (8.5" x 11") would require less replications than our "B" size puzzles (5" x 7"). The overall quantity needed dictates imprinting procedure, and consequently affects production cost.. 5. How many ink colors does your puzzle need. One color, two colors . . . "full" color (picture or image)? 6. Do you envision any bleeds (where the ink goes beyond the parameters of the puzzle itself . . . it "bleeds")? Most digital printers require a gripper space (margin) all ‘round the sheet being imprinted. 7. Do you intend to submit your properly sized, and positioned, "Artwork/Image" to us via e-mail? Send us the "Text" copy in the e-mail body copy. We will design, size, choose fonts and position as needed. 8. Would you prefer to submit the actual printed litho sheets to be mounted (laminated or glued to cardboard), then converted (diecut) into jigsaw puzzles? This could reduce the overall cost of production and give you control over the visual appearance of the final puzzles . . . but, then again, it could actually increase the cost of production. We'd hafta know exactly what you want, before we can comment further, on this subject. 9. Do you want a finished product that remains intact (the type we manufacture) or are you looking for a puzzle that is broken apart and boxed? 10. How soon will you need the job produced after you issue the order for them? Some jobs can be done in two weeks, whereas others can take six weeks, or longer . . . many factors are considered in this determination . . . including existing workload (jobs already in the hopper) and seasonal production mandates. 11. Payment, in advance, is required for all custom work and postage/handling is charged separately from other items purchased on our site!.
